As Sales Manager at Luminary Bank, you'll be on the front lines of our growth, driving revenue through enterprise and mid-market deals while building lasting relationships with institutional clients. This is a player-coach role where you'll spend significant time closing your own deals while potentially mentoring junior sales team members.

You'll work with companies looking to modernize their banking infrastructure, streamline payments, and navigate the complexities of European financial services. Your ability to understand client needs, articulate our value proposition, and navigate complex sales cycles will be essential to your success.

Required Experience

  • 2-4 years of B2B & B2C sales experience with proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota
  • Fintech, SaaS, banking, or financial services sales experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success closing enterprise and mid-market deals (€50K-€500K+ annual value)
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders (3-12 months)
  • Strong understanding of solution selling and consultative sales approaches
  • Track record of building pipeline from scratch through proactive prospecting
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and financial decision-makers

  • Experience with proposal/contract software (PandaDoc, DocuSign)
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, Google Slides for presentations
  • Basic understanding of financial services technology and banking platforms

Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of banking operations, payments (SEPA, SWIFT), and financial products
  • Familiarity with institutional/B2B client needs in financial services
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements (KYC/AML, GDPR, PSD2) affecting sales process
  • Knowledge of European business landscape and market dynamics
  • Understanding of digital banking and fintech value propositions
